WTF is up with the financial aid in my school. My tuition is supposedly due by the 22nd of this month, but I haven't even received a package yet. I asked them why it was taking so long, and they said I was probably on probation or decrease in GPA. That's total BS because 1) I am not on probation, 2) My GPA did not decrease, matter of fact, it increased for the past few semesters. I don't know about other schools, but my school is on the verge of closing down. Just my opinion that is. A little off topic, but it seems like Poly has the worst drop-out rates than any other other school. Too bad I didn't know about this school until I got here.
I was reading this article from MSN and found it to be interesting. This idea is actually good for two reasons. One is that there will probably be better Professors teaching college students since they have actual experience. It may not be my school that they'll be going to teach, but I know a lot of professors who can't teach for shit. Another reason is that it will open up more positions for job placements for people like me (lol). Too bad only up to 100 IBM employees will be doing this.

I was at home studying for an exam when my door bell suddenly rang. It was the basement's tenant wanting to get his mail. Before I can make way back into my house, he stopped me to help him translate this letter from the Immigration Office. I looked at the address and immediately knew that it was some kind of naturalization letter. I had the worst time trying to explain to him in canto about the mail. All I said was to "bring the listed documents to this address." It seemed like he knew what I was talking about, but at the same time, puzzled. I felt bad for myself not being able to translate something so simple to him.
I realized a long time ago that my cantonese is horrible. Whenever my relatives ask me questions about things, I reply with a chinglish accent and I would have to repeat myself. On top of that I stutter like crazy when talking in canto. Even my pops and grandma have a problem understanding me sometimes. Strange thing is my mom always understands me. I just have to say a few broken accent words and she'll know what I'm talking about. I took weekend chinese classes for speaking and writing when I was in elementary school, only because my mom made me. I ended up doing well in my first semester that I received an award for 3rd place of excellence. I didn't even expect to get it. As years gone by and hardly ever speaking canto to anyone except my family, I began to lose the "skill".
Finally added some linkage to my link section.

I'm on my break from 11-2. Walked my ass all the way to Brooklyn Tech. HS area just to get a $4 Philly cheesesteak sub. The only things I can think of that are just as cheap as that around my school are tex-mex and fish and chips. I don't feel like eating anything fried and I don't feel like eating any kind of rice. Cheesesteak was well worth it but the only problem is walking there tired me out from walking for the day. Once in a while ain't bad though.
I have an MTA internship interview next week. Most of the positions I signed up for are Computer Support/Tech, etc. Although one position I'm really looking forward to is the Wireless internship. Since I'm going for (as of now) a Masters in Telecommunications & Networks, this internship would be perfect for me. Even though I signed up for it the requirements consisted of knowing some things about Networking hardware, problem is that I had no prior experience in that field. I guess I should think of some BS answers during the interview (lol).

Man! I just clapped a mosquito. Some blood from their sucking was on my hand and it was dark red. I've killed about 3 mosquitoes in my room for the past month (more like past 2 weeks). Let's tell a story about the three. First one was hiding on the wall behind my clothing drawer. I wasn't sure if it was dead, so I tried to flinch it. It didn't budge. So I took my sandals and was about to wack it, until it started flying again. Before it could fly high, I wacked it to the floor. Still wasn't dead, so I crushed it with a tissue. Now comes the second mosquito. I woke up one afternoon, on my bed lied a dead mosquito upside down. I was confused at first but then I think I know why it died. I farted at the mosquito and it smelled it to death. Third mosquito is what I just killed. It flew midair like a hawk, so without any source of weapon, I went for it with my two bare hands. CLAP! Interesting ain't it?
I have a shit load of mp3 albums and mixtapes in hard drive(s), DVD-Rs, and CD-Rs. I'm trying to make an archive of them so I don't repeatedly download the same thing over and over. And if anyone is interested in having them, I can share. It's a shame that I listen to like 1/20 albums that I have.

It's been 4 years since the 9/11 attack. Still remember it was a crazy day for everyone. First thing I noticed when I left school at around afternoon time was black smoke in the air. I've never witnessed anything burn like that before, so horrific. Moment of silence. R.I.P. to the people that didn't make it.
On a side note, I was watching television and saw two back to back commercials of "Sex in the City" and "Southpark" which premieres on the 19th. I have no hate on these shows, in fact, I find them hilarious at times. But how can they show this on local television where kids can watch easily. I guess the producers feel that the shows need to expand their viewer ratings to people that normally can't watch it on local channels. Since censoring will be filtered into these shows, the audience may have a harder time enjoying the originality of it. One reason "Sex in the City" is interesting to watch is because of "sex", which is one major thing they will censor. Cussing in "Southpark" is what makes the cartoon funny, which also, will be censored. I'm going to watch these shows myself and see what happens.
