I've lost a lot of sleep lately. Just last night I slept for about 11 to 12 hours and woke up really tired this morning. That's because the night before, I've gotten only about 5 to 6 hours of sleep. What screwed my sleeping schedule was because of school. Monday was a Thursday schedule and Tuesday was a Tuesday schedule. Tuesdays and Thursdays are the days I wake up at 7:30am before leaving for class. Other days I can wake up on time without a problem. So I had these two days in a row which fucked up my sleeping times. Luckily, I had a two day vacation on Wednesday and Thursday. Didn't do much on Wednesday except chill indoors with Linda. Thursday I did some work for school and cleaned my room a little bit. Got out of my 3-6pm lab class and stopped by the library. I'm waiting here in because Linda wants to get some free condoms from some sorority event. LMAO.

Hmm...time to make some judgements about my professors but I won't mention names. I'll go by the course.
CS613 - Computer Architecture I Dude is funny and cool very laid back. CS3224 - Intro. to Operating Systems Talks way too much and gets off subject with his examples, slides put me to sleep because it's just black and white. EE4144 - Intro. to Embedded Systems Design Mostly self-learning but teaches interesting things. EE4313 - CompE Design Project I Same professor as above same stuff almost. EE116 - Communication Electronics Also a laid back professor but material is bleeping hard.

Been away to school life which means no life. Never got a chance to update if that even matters. Not much is new except I got a call last Thursday from this department of the MTA for the Wireless, etc. position. They didn't show up during the interview day so they somehow found me to be interested in working for them. The representative asked me a few questions related to wireless networks. "Do you know how...works?" My answer of course was "No, I do not." So then he looked at my resume and wondered what I did in my Communicaton Networks course. I gave a general answer by saying "the course went over the basic layers of the networking architecture and how each layer provides a specific service to each other". Somehow I went on to say that I was planning on going to graduate school for Telecommunication Networks. Then he asked me what I planned to do within the next semester or so. I said "I'm nearly done with my B.S. degree and I will be taking several graduate courses relating to Networks. This internship can help guide me in my studies." He asked me "so will you be able to work this semester and the next coming semester? We want someone to continue working here to the next term." I said "definitely." He said "so would you be interested in working here?". I said "yes I'm very interested in learning new things."
Somewhere in there during the phone call he said this was a paid position. But I didn't bother to ask anything about it. I would intern for this position even if it didn't pay me. Problem is that payed positions require you to work at least 20 hours. I can only offer up to 15-16 hours a week. It's no biggie but getting paid would definitely kick it up a notch. So that's about the most exciting thing that happen within the past few days. Hopefully the MTA calls or mails me back. >=(

October will be a crazy month for school. There's a couple of days of "no school" for me and some days have another's days schedule. I have to write down my priorities down on a calendar before I lose track. Since school days are shorten this semester (at least it appears to be), the professors squash more work into the days we have class. This means double the homework and classwork. Taking 5 classes doesn't make my work load any lighter either. I hate my school with a passion but it's not because of the workload, more like the environment and surroundings. But it's something I have to go through each day, basically my life.
